Kaylee Rodgers is a 10-year-old girl diagnosed with autism and ADHD. What makes her so special is her voice.
Kaylee isn’t that good in math and literacy, but she’s definitely “killing” with that voice. She is very shy, but the stage helps her to “open up,” as principal Colin Millar recalls. Kaylee goes to Killard House School in Northern Ireland.
Her video was uploaded few days ago, and it already has 3 million views. On YouTube.
“The fantastic thing about this video is that it’s not just good because she’s 10. Ant it’s not just good because she’s dealing with autism and ADHD. It’s good because it’s good – really good,” said one of the comments.
Australia, America and Japan called the school to express their admiration. Kaylee’s mother, Tracy, says that Kaylee’s music teacher is the one “to be blamed for all of this.”
“She always loved singing, but it wasn’t until she started at Killard House School that she really came into her own,” revealed Tracy. “Teacher Lloyd Scates is like her safety blanket – he’s amazing.”
Scates noticed that Kaylee is pretty skilled, and encouraged her to sing. Kaylee performed at every school event.
